CHICAGO – Sunbeam Corp. surprised its agencies last week by announcing its intention to seek a single global agency to handle all its products and what it said is a $160 million consolidated advertising and marketing account.
Sunbeam’s chief executive officer, turnaround specialist Al Dunlap, wants to establish a single global brand strategy for the appliance maker, according to company representative Maureen Bailey.
The $160 million total includes consumer advertising, trade shows and promotions, the company said.
