BOSTON–Three finalists have been named in the review for Stop & Shop’s $7-10 million advertising account.

Cronin & Co., Glastonbury, Conn., Merkley Newman Harty & Partners, New York and Mullen of Wenham, Mass., have advanced in the process being overseen by Pile and Co., the consulting firm in Boston. Incumbent Arnold, Boston, is not participating.

Holland Mark and Velocity Advertising, both Boston, and Wolf Group, New York, did not advance.

The client, which operates more than 300 supermarkets in New England, New York and New Jersey, will select a new shop in late August or early September.
