NEW YORK Masterfoods has signed on for its Snicker’s Marathon Bar to be the sponsor of weather.com’s “Fitness Forecast” through August.

The online section analyzes the temperature, humidity, sky conditions and wind of a user’s geographic location to see if it is optimal exercising weather. It is a part of the Web property’s new Fitness Planner, which is designed to answer weather-related workout questions.

With the new section (www.weather.com/health), weather.com is hoping to attract advertisers trying to reach workout or outdoor sports enthusiasts, such as Snickers.
