The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., shop will handle creative, media and public relations for the snack food, which once used route drivers for door-to-door deliveries in the company’s trademark tins.
SmithAgency.com will launch a nostalgia-based rebranding campaign later this year. “Products like Charles Chips can have second acts,” said Shelly Isaacs, agency executive creative director.
Isaacs said ads “will key in to memories of that driver coming to your door.”
