Schmidt Is Edelman VP

Edelman has named Laura Schmidt vice president. Schmidt will be responsible for corporate positioning and developing integrated marketing programs for the Atlanta shop’s business-to-business clients. She previously was a senior manager at CIBA Vision, where she led global corporate communications for the company’s contact lens business. Scott Briskey and Tiffany Fessler have joined as senior account supervisor and account supervisor, respectively. Briskey will lead one of the b-to-b groups within Edelman’s corporate practice. He most recently was a senior account supervisor with Fletcher Martin Ewing.
