MINNEAPOLIS – In a departure from a campaign used over the past several years featuring Love & War actress Annie Potts, Broadway mime and clown Bill Irwin takes center stage in a new ad campaign for General Mills’ Betty Crocker Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn breaking nationwide today. CME-KHBB/Minneapolis created two spots featuring Irwin’s quest to retrieve a bowl of Pop Secret popcorn and his unwillingness to share it. General Mills is spending an estimated $5 million.
