Officials with Atlanta-based First Data Corp. sent a letter to an undisclosed list of agencies, inviting them to participate in a review for their bank card issuing services business units. That portion of the firm is located in Omaha, Neb.
Billings for the account were undisclosed. According to Competitive Media Reporting, the client’s overall advertising expenditures amount to more than $30 million.
A First Data Corp. representative confirmed the review, but would not identify the agencies contacted, other than to say it was “a handful” in Atlanta and other markets.
