Pitney Bowes last week launched a brand-repositioning campaign tagged, “Engineering the flow of communication.” Ads are from New York-based WPP shop OgilvyOne; sister agency Landor Associates created the overall positioning. One ad promises, “Satisfaction guaranteed or your monkey back,” then explains how inaccurate communications can lead to increased costs and angry customers. The goal is to position the company “as an essential partner” for businesses, rather than just a supplier of office products, said Bruce Lee, executive creative director of OgilvyOne.
