Nike Golf Celebrates Tiger's Return

NEW YORK Nike Golf is commemorating the return of Tiger Woods to tournament golf this week after an eight-month hiatus with a 60-second TV spot breaking Wednesday and running through Sunday, March 1.

The commercial, called “The Good Life,” will air on ESPN, ESPN News, Golf Channel and NikeGolf.com. Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, Ore., handles.

Among the placements, Golf Channel will air the spot immediately preceding Woods teeing off against Brendan Jones on Wednesday in the first round of the Accenture Match Play Championship.

The commercial features Nike tour pros Stewart Cink, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Trevor Immelman and Carl Petterssen, along with Woods, and showcases winning performances in 2008.
