Jim Stengel, a former Procter & Gamble global marketing officer who retired from his post last fall, has joined MarketShare Partners in an advisory role, the analytics firm said today.

The packaged-goods veteran, whose 25-year career at P&G included a seven-year stint as P&G’s global marketing chief, joins a panel of seven other MarketShare Partners advisory members, including David Greenberg, who was most recently recruited from Ford’s global marketing team. Other board members include Stacy Jolna, formerly a gm at TV Guide Television, and Gokul Rajaram of Google’s AdSense product management team.
