NCCC Takes Stand for Ad Chores

BOSTON Niagara County Community College has hired Stand Advertising for strategic development, as well as print, Web and collateral chores. The work had been handled in-house for the past five years.

The college is located in Sanborn, N.Y., and the agency is in Amherst, N.Y.

Stand CEO Janet Barnes said, “NCCC is a solid WNY brand, and brings us back into the increasingly competitive education category, with the opportunity to do some exciting work for the SUNY system.”

The school “was in need of both market research to determine its competitive positioning, and also new strategies for recruitment and advertising, plus related design services. Our selection was based on Stand’s ability to offer a full scope of services in a cost-effective manner, and on a past working relationship with Janet Barnes,” said NCCC representative Lou Paonessa. Stand was selected following a review.

NCCC is located on a 287-acre rural campus. The Niagara County Legislature and the State University of New York sponsor the school.

Stand is a full-service agency with other clients such as Perry’s Ice Cream, ECMC, Greatbatch and Fairgrounds Gaming & Raceway.
