A blind request for proposals is being circulated by the consulting firm Select Resources International (SRI) on behalf of a consortium seeking to assign a $50 million ad account, sources say.

Agencies receiving the invitation said the client may be in food or beverages. The RFPs ask whether agencies have “turnaround expertise,” said sources, who speculated that the assignment could entail category-specific advertising along the lines of the “Got milk?” or “The other white meat” campaigns.
