Mullen Reduces Staffing Numbers In Wenham Office

Mullen, citing the continued slow economy, last week cut 13 people, or 4 percent of its staff at the agency’s headquarters.

The across-the-board reduction represents the first announced layoff this year at Mullen’s Wenham, Mass., office. Sources said the shop has been quietly cutting back since the year began and had earlier let more than a dozen people go. Mullen in the spring cut 30 people at its Winston-Salem, N.C., affiliate, Mullen/LHC. The agency, a unit of the Interpublic Group of Cos.,
