The Castle Group, Boston, hired Emily Farber as an account director for its public-relations division. In this position, Farber directs account activity and strategic planning for the agency's financial, high-tech and professional services accounts, as well as participates in new-business development. Prior to joining The Castle Group, Farber was an account executive at Collaborative Communications, where she was responsible for strategic planning and tactical implementation of public-relations programs for ScanSoft, OneSource Information Services and U.K.-based Red-M. Farber has also held positions in advertising at Salt Water Sportsman magazine and marketing at MFS Institutional Advisors. Castle's client roster includes national ac counts, such as e-Travel, FleetBoston Financial and Amicas. Smith & Jones, Worcester, hired Rosemary Lerit as copywriter and proofreader. Separately, Aimee Belair was hired as head of the agency's interactive department. Prior to Smith & Jones, Belair worked as a graphic artist at Worcester magazine. Christian Bagge joined Velocity Advertising, Boston, as an account coordinator. Bagge will work on a variety of account and administrative activities at the agency. Red98, Boston, hired Jim Haggerty as director of new-business development. Haggerty will work with the agency principals to help contact and inform companies as to the advantages of working with Red98. Prior to joining Red98, Haggerty was the business development director for Agency.com and spent two and a half years with Blockbuster Interactive, both in Boston. David Deziel rejoined DavisPartners as CEO. Prior to the agency, Deziel worked as vice president of marketing and member services at St. Mary's Bank, Manchester, N.H. He also worked for two years as director of client services when DavisPartners was known as Tom Davis + Co., Lexington. Kristen Tepper was named as account executive. Tepper will work on a variety of the agency's accounts. Prior to joining the agency, Tepper worked at Holland Mark, Boston. Jennifer Coelho was promoted to traffic manager from assistant account executive and will manage all of the agency's accounts. Prior to joining the agency, she worked at Women's Wear Daily, New York. In her new position, Dolan provides more than 14 years of expertise in managing successful business operations. She works closely with SourceLink's business offices in Deerfield, Ill., as well as with each DRG/SourceLink department, to ensure that the agency's financial goals are met. Dolan manages the agency's financial, administrative and human-resources teams. Prior to joining DRG in 1997, Dolan worked at Newburg & Co. in Wellesley. NEW HAMPSHIREFilias Advertising, Portsmouth, hired Margaret Logan as senior account executive. In her new job, Logan manages client relationships and provides account service for a dynamic roster of projects.
