Internet specialist Organic, which is headquartered in New York, has opened an Atlanta office. Stephen Walden, a former executive at Bellsouth.net as well as Prodigy, and Ray
Killebrew, previously director of creative services for IBM’s e-Business subsidiary, have been hired to head the Southeast regional office.
Jay Hatfield has been named senior art director at Freebairn & Co. in Atlanta.
Kleber & Associates in Atlanta has promoted Whitney McCoy to senior account executive.
Bigelow & Eigel in Atlanta has promoted four staff members to senior management status. Trinka Tansley becomes president of Big Promotions, Kevin Kinney is executive vice president and director of account services, Jason Hatfield is general manager and Suzanne Lang becomes agency services manager.
Heather Walden has joined BaylessCronin as media planner. Also hired at the Atlanta agency were account executives Sarah Childress and Emily Mather and print production manager Leah Caldwell. Other new arrivals are studio artist John Bullock and media assistants Alison Rodgers and Mora Hanlon.
Atlanta’s Philips Arena, home of the NBA Hawks, has installed David Guida as marketing coordinator.
ComGroup, a marketing agency serving technology and communications companies in and around Atlanta, has added five staff members. The new employees are director of account services Robin Kessler, account executives Anne Powell Warren and Charles Baumberger, assistant account executive Erin Staples and art director Andrew Hunter.
Jackson Spalding in Atlanta has hired media coordinator Allison Davis, senior account executive Allyson Furr and director of marketing and public relations Cristina Vasconez.

The Dan Rosenthal Co. has promoted Ann Titus to senior copywriter and Casper Uhl to junior art designer. The Bethesda agency has also hired account supervisor Jeffrey Spear, art director Jane Rosenthal, copywriter Trevor Sloan, and accounting assistant May Win.
Joan Erdesky has rejoined Earle Palmer Brown as studio manager at the agency’s Bethesda office. Erdesky has spent more than 20 years in the graphic arts and related industries, including four years at the National Gallery. She had previously worked at EPB’s Bethesda office from 1993 to 1996.

Daniel Gliatta has been recruited by Henderson Advertising as an account supervisor. Gliatta will oversees strategic advertising programs for Michelin at the agency.
Harrison Finney and Ashley Earnhardt have also arrived at the Greenville shop as assistant account executives.
Andrew Heckel and Helen Lee have joined Rawle-Murdy Associates as production manager and traffic manager, respectively. The Charleston shop’s creative department has welcomed studio director Craig McLaughlin and art directors Keith Ireland and J. Brady Wagner.
Jackson-Dawson has hired Faye Ward as traffic manager. Ward was working at Fahlgren & Swink in Marion, Ohio. Tonya Scheibel has also moved to the Greenville agency as assistant account executive, from crosstown agency Leslie Advertising.
Lesnik, Himmelsbach, Wilson & Hearl recently promoted Nikki Ewing to an account executive post at the Myrtle Beach agency.

Gay Porter has been signed as manager of client services at The Resource Agency. The Franklin-based company has also appointed Leslie Butler coordinator of client services.
In Nashville, Dye, Van Mol & Lawrence Public Relations and Advertising has named Cheryl Thompson senior account executive. She was previously director of operations at Higgins Advertising, also in Nashville.

Jimmy Davies has been designated database administrator at Thurston Chapman & Associates in Richmond. Previously, Davies was president of MacMaster Computer Services in Newport News. The shop has also recruited Art Trotter and Kevin Flores as art directors and Debbie Gilliam as accounting and administrative manager. Kristy Childers has become a receptionist at the company.
