Sean Cunningham has joined Universal McCann in New York as executive vice president, media director, with responsibilities for more than $2 billion worth of media spending. Cunningham previously worked at Lowe Lintas & Partners in New York, where he held the same title. The appointment allows Mark Stewart, UM’s executive vice president, North American media director, who has led both UM’s North American and its New York media areas, to relinquish day-to-day management of the New York media team.
