FLORIDA Diana Krier has joined the staff of St. John & Partners Advertising and Public Relations as an account coordinator. Krier comes to the Jacksonville agency after working as an administrative assistant for Vistakon. The shop also recruited another staffer, Sherri Petersen, who was named a travel coordinator. FKQ Advertising has promoted Shanna Patton to account executive. Patton has been with the Clearwater agency for two years, arriving from T&O/O'Neil, where she was an account executive. GEORGIA Jim Loser has joined Atlanta's Gordon Bailey & Associates as an associate creative director. He was formerly an adjunct professor of art and visual communications at Florida State University. Matthew Ziehl has been appointed an art director at Hood & Associates in Atlanta. Previously, Ziehl worked at both Williams Whittle Associates and Advante Advertising. After a spate of recent account wins, seven new employees have been hired at T.G. Madison Advertising in Atlanta: senior account executive Roberta Cornelius, account executives Monica Salmela and Kim Rushton, assistant account executives Tonya Rose and Sean Sullivan, and executive assistants Jeannie Parker and Jennifer Abbagnaro. The agency has also promoted Andy Goldsmith to executive vice president and director of account management and Bruce Behrens to the position of account group director. TENNESSEE Officials with Higgins Advertising have announced that Colin Slack has completed an international advertising internship with the Nashville agency. During his time at the shop, Slack worked in creative, production, public relations and account services. He is a student at the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Two new employees have been assigned to the creative department at The Buntin Group in Nashville. They are Matt Staab, who will work as a graphic designer, and Jennifer Beaird, who was brought in as a production artist. VIRGINIA Kershner & Company Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations has designated Susan Bodiker a copywriter and an agency producer. Prior to joining the Alexandria-based shop, Bodiker was employed at W.B. Doner and DDB Needham, among other agencies. Williams Whittle Associates in Alexandria recently added four employees to its staff. The new personnel are client service executive Darren Jones, account supervisor Chris DeSimone, process manager Leslie Bingham and graphic designer Connie Perkins. Big Image Graphics in Richmond, a producer of billboard, mural and banner displays, has welcomed Heath Matthews as vice president of sales. Matthews' experience includes stints at Gannett Outdoor and Eller Media Co.
