Modem Media Develops Site for Maritime

NEW YORK — Modem Media in Toronto has launched a new site for Maritime Life Assurance Company — its first online initiative for the insurance provider since landing the account last July after a review.

The site, , is aimed at customers and advisors in the Canadian market. It contains information in both English and French on the company and its products and services, including life insurance, pensions, group benefits and association plans.

Last summer, Maritime Life, a wholly owned subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services, tapped Modem to develop and implement the company’s interactive marketing strategies. Jonathan Feindel, director eBusiness for Maritime Life, cited Modem’s “customer-centric approach” and “experience in the financial services industry,” as reasons for picking the interactive shop.
