Minnesota Mattress Marketer Moves Account to MVBMS

Air bed marketer Select Comfort has moved its account from hometown shop Kruskopf Olson to Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer Euro/RSCG, New York, company officials said.
Diane Utzman-O’Neill, Select Comfort’s vice president of advertising, said the Minneapolis company was looking for a “more global agency that could take the brand to the next level.”
Agency sources said management changes may also have played a role. The company has gone through several chief executives and marketing directors in the past 18 months, these sources said.
Media responsibilities will remain with Haworth Marketing and Media in Minneapolis.
