MindShare Wins $150 Mil. Nextel Biz

Nextel last week awarded media duties on its $150 million account to WPP’s MindShare in New York, the client said. The shop competed against IPG’s Initiative Media, the incumbent, Omnicom’s PHD and Havas’ Media Planning Group, all in New York; and Publicis’ Starcom in Chicago. Earlier this month, the client awarded the creative account to Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\ Day in New York.
