Menduni Joins Mediassociates

BOSTON Charlie Menduni has joined independent Mediassociates as media director, the agency said.

He succeeds Jim Jinks, who moves to the position of business development director. Menduni, 43, will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all client media plans at the Danbury, Conn.-based agency.

Menduni was most recently svp and group media director for Interpublic Group’s Lowe in New York, where he oversaw national strategies for Booz Allen, Gorton’s Seafood and UPS. Menduni started his career at IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding in New York as a media planner and buyer, and he has also held senior posts at Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer and Welch Nehlen Groome.
