M/C/C Connects With Teletouch

DALLAS M/C/C has been awarded marketing duties for Teletouch Communications, a provider of wireless services.

The Dallas shop said it won the account of the Tyler, Texas-based company in a review against two undisclosed agencies.

M/C/C is charged with creating brand awareness of Teletouch’s products and services. Specifically, the agency will conduct market research, branding and message development.

The shop will also redesign the company’s Web site and develop advertising, sales collateral and direct mail campaigns. The first ad campaign will break at the end of the third quarter, the shop said.

In 2001, Teletouch Communications evolved its service offerings to provide wireless products and services to business customers. Industries such as trucking and fleet management, agriculture and emergency medical services use Teletouch to monitor remote operations, track and merge mobile assets, and correct problems remotely.

M/C/C estimated billings to be just under $1 million.

The client had previously used agencies on a project basis.
