Matlock Wins BMW Minority Marketing

CHICAGO BMW North America has selected Matlock Advertising & Public Relations to handle its African American advertising account following a review, according to a company representative.

The Atlanta agency won the business after a three-month review of undisclosed contenders. Billings for the account were not disclosed. The incumbent was Washington-Daniel Advertising in Chicago.

In addition, the automaker will increase its work with current Hispanic agency, Publicis Sanchez & Levitan in Miami. The assignments do not affect Fallon Minneapolis’ status as lead agency for the Woodcliff Lake, N.J., company, nor regional shops Publicis in New York and Mendelsohn/Zien in Los Angeles, according to the representative.
