First thing I do look at is text messages and emails. The emails usually take me on a fun ride through the Internet, depending on how soon I need to be somewhere. I also read theSkimm every morning. It's a daily news round-up, but it's written by these two girls who have a really funny voice. It's not as much about pop culture as it is actual news, which is why I really like it. What social media do you use? I use Instagram, Twitter and I am currently working on getting my Facebook page together. To be honest, I do all my own Instagramming and tweeting, but my assistant is helping me put together my Facebook page. I'm the worst about Facebook; I sort of skipped over it. I have a stepdaughter, and a couple of years ago, when she was 16, I was like, "Should I do Facebook?" And she was like, "No. Nobody uses Facebook anymore. It's all about Instagram." So I thought, "OK, fuck it, then I'm not Facebooking!" Who do you follow on Instagram? So many people. I really like the Catskill Animal Sanctuary. I follow a ton of animal rescues. I love Tuna Melts My Heart, Marnie the Dog, Toast Meets World, Barbie the Pig. There's a feed called Jane Birkin Daily, for fashion inspiration, natch. Obviously I love following my friends. And oh my god, Ricky Gervais—I just spent three hours in an Instagram hole watching every video he's ever posted of his cat. What's your favorite app? Pandora is great, obviously. Pinterest is awesome for long days on set. For pictures, I like Cross Process because I'm a lazy photographer. I'm never going to take the time to find the perfect filter and test everything, and Cross Process has some way of adding a filter over your picture for you so it always looks cool. Do you listen to any podcasts? Oh yeah. WTF by Marc Maron, and of course I listened to Serial. I love This American Life and KEXP Song of the Day, which is from Seattle. How about TV shows? Mad Men. That's the only show I've really committed to for the long haul. It's funny, I feel like everybody watches television differently than I do. All my friends watch what's on their DVR or Netflix or Amazon, but I just sit down and turn on the TV and watch what's on and then go do something else. I feel like if I get emotionally involved in a television show, it'll take over my life and I'll end up sitting in front of the TV all day. I'm not great with moderation. Are you going to start a new show now that Mad Men is over? I think I want to watch Bloodline on Netflix. I did a play with [Bloodline actor] Norbert Leo Butz, and I'm such a huge fan of his. What's on your reading list? I was shooting [Married] last week in a used bookstore, and I bought all these books because they gave us a discount. I want to read Still Alice, What Makes Sammy Run?, Atonement, and I bought Bel Canto and The Goldfinch. And I finished The Girl on the Train in a day. Oh my god, that was so good! I'm a big reader. I'm not much of a TV person, but I read my butt off!
