SAN FRANCISCO The former chief financial officer of Buder Engel has joined independent Eleven as its first CFO, an agency representative said.

Ken Kula, 46, has 20 years of experience in advertising and will report to Eleven president Jordan Warren. Kula was hired by the San Francisco agency this month as the shop adds new business and staff, the rep said.

Prior to leading the financial division of Buder Engel, Kula was CFO of another independent shop, Leagas Delaney.
