Jonathan Halvorson Named Kimberly-Clark CMO After $40B Kenvue Merger

Halvorson previously led marketing for Kenvue

Hot on the heels of completing its acquisition of consumer health giant Kenvue on Nov. 2, Kimberly-Clark has anointed veteran marketing executive Jonathan Halvorson as CMO.

In a LinkedIn post, Halvorson announced the hiring and added that he was “excited for this next chapter as Kenvue and Kimberly-Clark come together.”

Halvorson steps up from his previous post as chief digital and marketing officer of Kenvue. Kimberly-Clark did not immediately respond to ADWEEK’s request for a comment.

On October 1, Kimberly-Clark announced a series of “planned executive transitions,” starting with Russ Torres moving to an “external CEO role.” The company also stated that North America president John Carmichael would cede his chair to Carlos De Jesus, who would be “working closely with future chief marketing officer, Jonathan Halvorson.”
