After a five-month review, Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Health System has named Johnson Gray Advertising its agency of record. The ad budget is projected to be $3 million.
The Newport Beach, Calif.-based shop prevailed over one other finalist, The Phelps Group in Santa Monica, Calif., in a review that initially involved about 30 agencies nationwide. The now-defunct Los Angeles office of Publicis (formerly EvansGroup) was the incumbent.
Reagan Gray, Johnson Gray’s executive vice president, said the agency’s experience in institutional and healthcare advertising and the speculative creative work it presented during the pitch helped it win the business.
