J Records and EverAd Ink Pact

EverAd, a New York-based provider of interactive marketing technology, and J Records have inked a strategic partnership. Founded by music producer Clive Davis, J Records will use EverAd’s PlayJ technology to promote its roster of music acts, including Olivia and O-Town.

The 20-year-old R&B artist Olivia’s single “Bizounce” will be featured throughout the network of Web sites affiliated with PlayJ, the music division of EverAd. O-Town’s single, “All or Nothing,” will also be promoted on the network, which includes sites such as Listen.com, Tucows.com and MyPlay.com. PlayJ uses a proprietary technology that allows copyrighted music to be downloaded legally for free by displaying promotional and advertising messages as tracks are played.
