Having been named best destination city by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler, the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau figured it would celebrate with a photograph. Last week it invited waiters, bellmen, taxi drivers and a host of others from the hospitality industry to pose on the Golden Gate Bridge. About 1,200 people showed up for the picture, including mayor Frank Jordan. The photograph will be used in an ad by Saatchi & Saatchi/S.F.
