Cohen-Friedberg Associates in Framingham, Mass., has been named sales promotion agency for TheStreet.com.
The popular, investor-oriented Web site hired its first shop after James Cramer, founder of TheStreet.com, received a pitch letter from Cohen-Friedberg principal Mark Cohen.
The account will be serviced by David Rager, who was recently appointed vice president of online services and is based in New York.
Cohen-Friedberg is eying the third quarter to begin breaking a series of promotional events aimed at increasing the year-old site’s visibility and attracting new users.
