IDV Wines Picks JWT To Build Brand Reach

SAN FRANCISCO-IDV Wines, nƒe Heublein Wines Group, has named J. Walter Thompson here to oversee the $8 million advertising account for its domestic brands. There was no formal review.
San Mateo, Calif.-based IDV brands include Glen Ellen, Beaulieu Vineyards, Blossom Hill and M.G. Vallejo. San Francisco’s Hoffman/Lewis and Odiorne Wilde Narraway Groome had previously handled advertising for some of the brands.
“We are thrilled to represent IDV Wines and be partners in developing a line of powerful wine brands,” said John Geoghegan, general manager of JWT.
