LOS ANGELES–The Los Angeles Times awarded the creative portion of its estimated $5-10 million account to Ground Zero. The Marina del Rey, Calif., agency, which has worked on ads for the Times’ Web site, prevailed over longtime lead agency DDB, Los Angeles, in a competition to create a positioning campaign. DDB retains media.
A WSJ Online Business to Goodby
BOSTON–Goodby, Silverstein & Partners has added the low-seven-figure ad business for, the online version of The Wall Street Journal. Arnold Communications, Boston, worked on the business for the past year. An Arnold representative said the client opted to consolidate the account at the San Francisco agency, which handles the financial newspaper’s ad account.
