LOS ANGELES–The Los Angeles Times awarded the creative portion of its estimated $5-10 million account to Ground Zero. The Marina del Rey, Calif., agency, which has worked on ads for the Times’ Web site, prevailed over longtime lead agency DDB, Los Angeles, in a competition to create a positioning campaign. DDB retains media.
