"Principal's $25-30 Mil. Account in Play CHICAGO-Financial services company Principal Financial Group is contacting agencies about its $25-30 million account. Triad Consulting Group, Troy, Mich., is handling the search. The company cited its global growth as a reason for the review. Incumbent Brown Marketing Communications in Chicago was invited but declined to participate. "Tobacco Foundation Names Ad Chief WASHINGTON, D.C.-Chuck Wolfe, the man who headed Florida's anti-tobacco campaign, has been tapped to develop a communications program for the Tobacco Control Foundation. The Foundation was created as part of last year's tobacco settlement and will wield a $250 million budget for anti-smoking efforts over the next 10 years. The organization plans to send out a request for proposal in the coming weeks. "Bacardi Talks to Shops About Rum Assignment NEW YORK-Bacardi-Martini USA is talking to shops about handling a new creative assignment for Bacardi rums, including Bacardi Light and Bacardi Light-Dry brands, the client confirmed. Lead agency Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York, is participating as is roster shop Amster Yard, sources said. AAR/Bob Wolf in New York is assisting in the review.
