FCB Courts High-Profile U.K. Creative Director
SAN FRANCISCO–Foote, Cone & Belding is in talks to hire Tony Cox, executive creative director of BMP DDB, London, to serve as executive creative director of its San Francisco office, said sources. Cox would fill the post vacated by Paul Wolfe earlier this year and previously held by Mike Koelker, who passed away in 1995. Cox’s credits in the U.K. include work for Volkswagen, a long-running campaign for credit card Barclaycard starring comedian Rowan Atkinson and a recently launched global effort for Reuters.
