Horizon Media’s new-business fortunes were rosy on both coasts last week. The New York headquarters landed weight-loss marketer Nutri-System, while the Los Angeles office won media duties for steak-house chain Stuart Anderson’s Black Angus.

The combined billings are an estimated $50 million. The assignments were awarded following separate reviews.

Nutri-Systems’ media planning and buying ac-count is worth an estimated $40 million. The Philadelphia company suspended national advertising in 1998 when it closed its bricks-and-mortar centers to be an online marketer.
