Honoring the Best

The Orange County Advertising Federation has awarded its Silver Medal to Denise Dennison-Erkeneff, who recently stepped down as the club’s president.
Dennison-Erkeneff, who established R&D Graphics and Marketing, Dana Point, Calif., in 1995, received the award last week at an OCAF luncheon.
The honor was established by the American Advertising Federation to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to the industry while furthering creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.
“Denise is a tireless worker. She’s passionate, and she really cares about the ad community,” says Bruce Mayo, OCAF co-president and partner/creative director of Lawrence, Mayo
& Ponder, Newport Beach, Calif.
Dennison-Erkeneff helmed the OCAF for two terms before yielding to Mayo and Jon Gothold, partner/executive creative director at DGWB, Irvine, Calif.
