Huey/Paprocki has won a project assignment from the power equipment division of engine maker American Honda Motor Co. Both companies are based here.
The division manufactures all non-automotive/motorcycle engines for Honda, including lawn mowers, marine outboards, snowblowers, generators and go-carts. With most advertising done in-house, project assignments are rare.
“I had a relationship with [partner] Joe Paprocki at Fahlgren/Martin in Atlanta and I know he does dynamite work,” said John Lolly, Honda’s advertising manager.
Lolly said Honda was considering hiring a full-time creative shop, but “only after they’ve proven themselves with a continuing display of excellent project work.”
