Anheuser-Busch has tapped another Texas Hispanic shop to spearhead Latino marketing efforts on a regional basis.
A-B formalized a project relationship with Ornelas & Associates here last week, assigning creative duties on Budweiser in Texas and California markets, according to the agency. Billings were undisclosed, but sources have placed annual Budweiser Hispanic spending at $2 million.
The St. Louis-based brewer recently tapped Hispanic corporate agency Spark/KJS in San Antonio to head up Spanish-language promotions for Budweiser, Bud Lite and Michelob in key markets.
The Budweiser ad duties assigned to Ornelas were previously at New York’s Castor Advertising, which retains its East Coast work for the brand.
