Hershey Shifts $90M In Ad Duties

Hershey said it has tapped Havas’ Arnold and independent North Castle Partners to lead creative on its U.S. confectionery and snack accounts without a review. Sources said Arnold’s portion is about two-thirds of the overall account, or $90 million. The work had been handled mainly by WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather and Omnicom’s DDB, both in New York. On the roster for 35 years, Ogilvy last fall won Kraft Foods’ global confectionery work, creating a potential conflict.



King Moves Up to Lead JWT, Chicago

NEW YORK Ros King, the New York-based global business director on JWT’s global Kraft account, is moving to Chicago to become president of the network’s third-largest office, the agency said.
