Movies.com, a North Hollywood, Calif.-based movie showtime, ticket and information Web site owned by the Walt Disney Internet Group, has hired veteran journalist Lew Harris as editorial director. In this newly formed position, Harris will oversee the creation and direction of the site’s original editorial content. Most recently the founding editor-in-chief of E! Online, Harris’ background in print and online journalism also includes stints as senior editor, Us Weekly; entertainment editor, People Magazine; and editor-in-chief, Los Angeles Magazine.
