Fuson, Sharpe Gain Equity Stakes in Bohan

ATLANTA Gayle Fuson and John Sharpe have become partners in Bohan Advertising, the shop said.

Fuson has been with the independent Nashville, Tenn., agency since 1992 and is chief financial officer. Sharpe joined the agency in 2000 and is the shop’s chief marketing officer. Both will continue in their current roles, with the added responsibility of determining the shop’s top management decisions.

David Bohan, the agency founder and CEO, remains the majority owner of the agency. He declined to disclose the percentage of the shop that Fuson and Sharpe acquired.

“John and Gayle have been instrumental in the building of this agency and this acknowledges their roles,” Bohan said.

It is the first time that Bohan has shared ownership of the shop since it opened in 1990.

Bohan employs 85 people and had billings last year of $57.4 million, Bohan said. Its clients include Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism in Tennessee, The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, Century Boats, the Grand Ole Opry and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
