Fraser Picks Up Roland’s Musical Instruments Account

Los ANGELES—Making its first foray into the music category, Fraser Communications has won Roland Corp.’s $2 million Musical Instruments account.

Other finalists included California shops DGWB in Santa Ana and Ignited Minds in Marina del Rey.

Client representative Kellie Wilkie said Fraser in Santa Monica, Calif., “came back with the broadest scope of ideas, all tied together with one consistent campaign” for a new-product launch in July. The account was previously with The Phelps Group in Santa Monica, which continues to work with Roland’s Contemporary Keyboards division.

The scope of the work will likely include print and online efforts, as well as media buying and planning, said Renee Fraser, agency president and CEO.
