Forbes.com Enlists East Coast, Midwest Sale Execs

NEW YORK Forbes.com has tapped former Saveur magazine publisher Pat Dignan to head up East Coast sales and Gregory Myrick, most recently an account supervisor at Publicis Groupe’s chemistri, to spearhead sales efforts in Michigan and Ohio.

Dignan, 48, who worked at Saveur in New York for two years, has joined the online counterpart to Forbes as East Coast Sales director. He replaces Richard J. Kosinski, who left in January. Dignan’s experience includes sales and sales management roles at Newsweek, Forbes Inc. and Ziff-Davis Publishing.

Myrick, meanwhile, has been named regional sales director. He is the first employee in the Web publisher’s Detroit sales office, which was set up to serve clients and agencies in the Midwest. Previously, Myrick, 30, spent nearly four years at chemistri (formerly D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles) in Troy, Mich., supporting numerous Cadillac models. Before that, he was at Interpublic Group’s McCann-Erickson in Detroit and Irving, Texas, for two-and-a-half years, where he worked on Buick, among other accounts.

Dignan and Myrick will report to Bill Flatley, vice president and chief advertising officer at Forbes.com.
