Florida State Picks St. John to Play Up Academic Strengths

St. John & Partners has been selected to develop a national image campaign for Florida State University.

Over the next months, the Jacksonville, Fla., shop will create an advertising, direct mail, interactive and public relations initiative focusing on FSU’s academic credentials.

The challenge is to promote the Tallahassee, Fla., school—known throughout the country as a football powerhouse—to the general public as a center for law, medicine and other educational disciplines.

“The university is much more than just athletics,” said agency chief executive officer Dan St. John, a Seminole alumnus. “FSU has established itself in the halls of academia.”

The campaign budget is undisclosed.
