CHICAGO Fallon Worldwide said it would no longer operate a full-service outpost in New York. The agency made that decision today as New York president Anne Bologna and executive creative director Ari Merkin said they would leave to start their own venture.

“We gave it a hell of a try,” said agency chairman and founder Pat Fallon. “We’ve had creative success and business success. We have an opportunity [now] to alter our strategy in a positive way, and I’m going to take it.”
