Empire Converts Project Into Steady Work

DALLAS The National Association of Residential Property Managers has hired Empire Communications Group to build brand awareness and improve public relations, the agency said.

Empire, based in Jacksonville, Fla., was hired on a project basis last year to research attitudes and perceptions of NARPM among people in the residential property management business.

NARPM, based in Austin, Texas, was founded in 1988 to promote ethical practices among residential property managers. The association has more than 65 chapters located from Florida to Hawaii. In addition to the U.S., the association has members in Canada and Australia.

The value of the deal between NARPM and Empire was not disclosed.

The association provides continuing education to its members and offers two professional designations for individuals—Residential Management Professional (RMP) and Master Property Manager (MPM). It also offers a professional designation to companies through the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC).

“We are at a point where we need to let the public know that there is a professionally trained group of people, available all over the country, who provide management services for residential homeowners,” said Roy Bohrer, NARPM executive director. “That’s why we have selected Empire.”
