Eight O’Clock Coffee has put its advertising account in review, and about 15 agencies have received questionnaires, sources said.
Don Sommerville, president of Compass Foods, a division of A&P Supermarkets, which owns the coffee brand, confirmed he is in the early stages of an agency search and is working with AAR/Bob Wolf & Partners in New York. He declined to elaborate.
Shops in several regions have been contacted for the $3-5 million account, with the exclusion of the West Coast because of the distance from the Montvale, N.J.-based
