Making the world chemical free is what Sun & Earth is all about. The company has no intention, however, of operating commercial free.

The Norristown, Pa., client, which manufactures nontoxic household cleaning products, is launching a radio campaign in Boston and Hartford, Conn., from eFlicks Media, Boston.

Sun & Earth is owned by a nonprofit venture fund operated by Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s. The company’s mission and all returned profits are used to create jobs and economic opportunities for low-income people.

The campaign features testimonials from Cohen and Sun & Earth customers in radio spots, as well as point-of-purchase materials promoting a contest for one year’s free house cleaning.

Cohen is currently designing the Sun & Earth “soapmobile”—a traveling float decorated to look like a huge bottle of laundry detergent with bubbles—to give away samples at supermarkets.
