Dunkin' Donuts Taps Risinger as Advertising Director

BOSTON-Allied Domecq’s Dunkin’ Donuts on Thursday named Phillip Risinger director of advertising. Risinger reports to Ken Kimmel, vp, Dunkin’ Donuts Concepts.

He will oversee all aspects of the Randolph, Mass.-based company’s advertising and work closely with its lead agency, Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston. The agency in September launches a new campaign for the client with tagline, “Just the thing.” The company spent $35 million on ads in 2001 and $22 million through August of this year, per CMR.
