Driver’s Delight

White-sand beaches. Sunny sailboats. Verdant golf courses. It’s New York’s Hamptons—the setting for a new catalog of apparel and gifts inspired by BMW of North America’s X5 Sports Activity Vehicle.

The 36-page catalog, created by Ritta & Associates in Englewood, N.J., showcases a new line of products for men, women and children that is designed with the X5 driver’s active lifestyle in mind. Titled BMW X5 Lifestyle, the outdoor-oriented catalog is part of a campaign that includes point-of-purchase posters and magazine ads.

The catalog features models relaxing and frolicking in various Hamptons venues, such as on beaches and sailboats. The images were shot by fashion photographer Steven Lippman.

“We wanted an environment that would suggest an easy, outdoor area with kind of upscale activities,” said Kay Ritta, pres ident and creative director.

Similar creative is featured in the POP posters and magazine ads. Ritta noted that the target audience includes BMW owners and enthusiasts.
